Recurring work
Let the next run build on the last one.
Give scheduled agents a shared place to read previous findings and save new results. Help the people reviewing the work see what changed.
A familiar situation
The work crosses a boundary.
An agent checks the same system every morning, but each report is disconnected from yesterday’s findings. Reviewers spend time piecing together what is new and what was already understood.
Recurring agent work can produce a lasting record that supports comparison, handoffs, and human review.
What carries forward
- Baselines and earlier reports
- Consistent fields for recurring records
- New findings and exceptions
- Follow-up decisions
Saved in a shared workspace. Ready for the next person and agent.
The workflow
How the work moves forward.
01
Define the record
Agree what each run should save: observations, comparisons, exceptions, and follow-up questions.
02
Read before the next run
Use your existing scheduler to start an agent and instruct it to read the relevant baseline and earlier reports from Markbase.
03
Save the result for review
Have the agent write its findings back to the workspace, where a person or another agent can pick up the follow-up work.
What this makes possible
A better way to divide the work.
- Context between runs
- A recurring task can refer to the previous result instead of treating every run as a first attempt.
- A record people can review
- Keep findings readable and available outside the agent’s execution history.
- A route to follow-up work
- Another person and agent can use the report as the beginning of an investigation.
How responsibilities are shared
Your own scheduler or agent tool runs the work. Markbase provides the shared record; it does not schedule agents or send alerts on their behalf.

Handoffs & environments01
Investigate with oversight. Build independently.
Move from a supervised production investigation to development in an isolated environment.

Shared team knowledge02
Make one person’s learning useful to the whole team.
Keep decisions, lessons, and project context available to the next person and their agent.
